TITLE OF THE JOURNAL: Power Efficient Transceiver Designs In MIMO Cognitive Radio Network Using LMS Algorithm

ABSTRACT: Cognitive radio technology has come out as the promising solution to reduce the imbalance between spectrum shortage and spectrum under-utilisation. It increases the spectrum utilisation by reusing the vacant spectrum of the primary systems. The interference should be properly controlled and managed in order to ensure successful operation of the primary network and to improve the performance of cognitive radio networks. This interference problem is solved by employing multiple antennas. Transceiver beamforming is performed to avoid the unwanted radiation. Iterative algorithms are used to minimize the total transmit power of secondary systems, while maintaining the interference to the primary users below a certain threshold value and satisfying QoS (Quality of Service) constraint for each secondary system. This is performed by MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) beamformer in cognitive radio network. This paper investigates the transmit power minimization with MMSE and an adaptive beamformer.

TITLE OF THE JOURNAL: AUTOMATIC SEGMENTATION OF FOVEA AND CLASSIFICATION OF DIFFERENT STAGES OF DIABETIC RETINOPATHY

ABSTRACT:

 Fovea is the centre most part of the macula. A healthy fovea is key for reading, watching, driving etc... Fovea detection helps doctors to identify diseases like diabetic retinopathy (DR), age related macular degeneration (AMD) and retinopathy of pre-maturity (ROP). Diabetic retinopathy is the most common diabetic eye disease and it can eventually leads to blindness. With the help of adaptive histogram equalization, threshoulding method and smoothing method can detect the fovea region. These features are proceeded with the help of Fuzzy C-Means clustering algorithm to detect the different diabetic retinopathy stages and the result will be compared with KNN. The accuracy of the diabetic retinopathy detection system is 98.5%.

TITLE OF THE JOURNAL: MULTIBAND FRACTAL PATCH ANTENNA: MODIFICATION AND MINIATURIZATION OF SIERPINSKI GASKET

ABSTRACT:

The evolution of the current systems using fourth generation technology is based on the key idea of interoperability. In future systems, a single terminal should be capable of performing all the functions - anywhere, at any moment and in any interface, resulting in a convergence of services. This paper presents the design and simulation of a novel miniaturized microstrip fractal patch antenna which resonates at 3.1GHz, 3.8GHz, 5.6GHz,6.9GHz and 7.7GHz .The size of the antenna is compacted by 30% in comparison with a regular Sierpinski gasket antenna. All the simulations have been performed using ANSYS HFSS software. The obtained results have also been validated using Keysight N9915A network analyzer. The simulated and experimental results are found to be in good agreement.
